Definitions

Aboriginal Elder : An aborigine that is a teacher of traditions and that others look to for knowledge.

Environmentalist (Greenie): A person who advocates for the protection and conservation of the natural environment.

Farmer: A person who cultivates land; a producer of food.

Developer: A person or company that is interested in growth, expansion and advancement often by building on vacant land; in charge of building projects.

Councillor: A member of council who was elected to to act in an advisory, administrative or legislative capacity; approves or rejects development plans.
